I summited my application.

Finally, I just summited my application for transfer.

Writing UC personal statement was actually a lot harder that I expected. I thought since I have written many English essays, Journals in class, or any HW so far, UC personal statement would be easier. Besides, It is wring my stories, and introducing myself to someone, so I should be easier, but it was not.

Anyway, I got if burden. Only thing I can do right now is just waiting for the result. I will just forget about it.

I really appreciate many tutors in writing center and tutoring center. they were always next to me to help my essay including English essay too. If they were not available t help me, I would fail transfer. they really helped me.

Personal statement is not a rough draft. That's the only thing that I want to remind you right now. Revise them many times and get as many comments on it as possible

Mouse.. In my house.

One day boforthe the Thanks Giving day morning, I was preparing breakfast. I usually put banana in the kichien, but I noticed that something ate a part of a banana. First I thught I bought a bad kind of banana at Costco. At that time, I didn't care it. However, on Thanks Giving day mornig, I was sure that my house has mouse somewhere because somethhing ate an avocado too. I told this my familly, and we got mouse traps at Wal-Mart. While I was tring to figue how to set the traps, I got hit so many times. It was really hurting. I set those traps with cheeses, and I waited one day. Yesterday, right after I woke up, I checked all the traps if i caugt any mice. Nothing was there.. Today moring also, Nothing was there.. What a smart mouse. May be, I should try in different ways.

Thanks Giving day

 This thusday is Thanks Giving Day. Most people get excited because this are familly gathering, sharing food and gifts, and seeing friends.

However, many holidays such as Christmas, Thanks Giving, and Hollowen are target by companies too much.

Imagine Black Friday for shopping. This ruins Thanks giving. Many people rush to stores to buy Tvs, Refrigiators, DVD players, and cell phones. It looks very rediculus. People have foggoten the true meaning of Thanks giving. Look at this picture. Is this really familly gathering?? Celabrating harvest?? Where is famiily, love, care, friends, and humanity.

As a foriener, I have expereince that many hollodays in the US have been commercial things too much especially Christ Mas.

We should look back the past, and we should remenber orign of those hollidays.

Good way to go grocery shopping

Last weekend, I read some magazines at Barns and Nobles. One magazine really attracted me because the front page has a lot of yummy food pictures. It was cooking magazine, but It has tons of useful information. I read one article talks about grocery shopping. I recommended people to shop around of a supermarket, because side of supermarket usually has healthy food, such as fresh vegetables, meat, and daily food. However, when we look at the center of supermarket, there are usually, frozen food, many instant food, and chips, and people are regularly tempted by those foods. From now on, if I go to grocery shopping, I will try to shop around of supermarket.

Best Sea Food.

 Last week end, I went to the Fashion Island around new port beach with my friend. This place was not like Brea Mall, but it was outdoor shoping place. Besides, there were some department stores, such as Macy's, and Northstrom. For, those who like shopping a lot, this place will be very atractive, but for those who don't like shoping much like me, it will be just another shoping mall in Southen California. After I and my frined looked around this place, we were very hungry. I didn't like food at Fashion Island, so we decided to go to new port beach for sea food.
 I didn't have any information about new port beach, but there was one place where a lot of people were waiting. It was Crab Shack. If you like crab, you definitely should go to that place!
 They have reasonable price for two people, but it is, of course, expensive than other fast food.... Only once in a while I would recommend going there. 50 dollars for two people.
 I strongly recommend this place because there has fresh crab, delicious potato, and corn. I really liked it.

Movie

Yesterday, I watched a movie with my friends. I love to watch all kinds of movies whether genre is my favorite or not. Some people say that movies can affects people positively or nagatively, especiall when people are young. I agree that some violent movies, such as ganster movie might influence children a lot. I read one article dealing with criminal's statistics. It claims that many criminals actually say they habe been influenced by violent movies, so some people who has mental disoder may not be able to distinguish reality from fantasy. However, I really like watching movies because movies lead me to experince the world that I didn't know before.
